From Shakespeare in Delaware Park to the children’s playground, or walking your dogs in a winter wonderland, it is the go to place for a variety of interests. Picturesque Delaware Park is a buzz of activity throughout all four seasons. Year round, there’s always something exciting going on. They even host special events during the summer months. The Terrace can host parties from 40 to 100 from November to April. Today the Marcy Casino is the home of The Terrace restaurant and bar. It is rebuilt in time for the Pan American Exposition in 1901 by Buffalo architect E.B.Green. The original boathouse is destroyed by fire in 1900. This gem of a park was designed by famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted in 1868. The Marcy Casino sits on the edge of Hoyt lake in historic Delaware Park.
